Happy New Year and exciting Dash Academy news!

As I reflect upon the past year, it is clear I have a lot to be thankful for.

Dash Academy has an amazing readership, and I am truly awed by the entertaining and encouraging feedback you have been leaving! Reading your comments fuels my own excitement for the comic. A big thank you to everyone who has sent in gift art - it is always so wonderful to see what you have made. Sixty-six (!) pieces of gift art were featured in the previous journal, and I would be delighted to feature more in this journal as well (and I always keep hard copies of your art on my computer and backup drive so I can cherish them FOREVER).

A special thank you to who has helped me with football/rugby concepts, paypal and point donors, DeviantArt subscription donors, and to all of the Dash Academy translators! (Seventeen languages and counting!)

Are you a fan of MLP-FiM's music? has organized a petition to ask Hasbro to release an official soundtrack. He has over 1000 signatures and, at the time of writing this, only needs 468 more. Check it out here: www.change.org/en-CA/petitions…

has graciously donated the dashacademycomic.com web domain. So awesome! I would love to have a website to post comics in conjunction with DeviantArt, however, I'm woefully untrained in website creation/maintenance so I have no idea what I'm doing! So I'm looking for site-savvy helpers. Send me a note if you have experience with websites and are interested in helping me build and manage a Dash Academy site!
