In other news, you may have noticed from the comic progress tracker on my profile page that I'm working on the next two comics at once. This is because I'm taking a week-and-a-half-long vacation beginning May 6th, which means I'll try my best to submit a strip just before I leave and another immediately after I return. I'll finish up part 6 when I return from vacation.

Why am I going on vacation?

I'm getting married!

My soon-to-be-husband (who I've been with for nearly 9 years... wow!) has shaped Dash Academy in more ways that I can count and is an endless source of moral support. Most of what you read in the comic is a direct result of the ideas we've bounced back and forth (you know you're extremely lucky when you can banter together like a teenage Dash and Gilda to come up with dialogue ideas).

Thank you again to all the readers of Dash Academy. I've said it before and I'll say it again - your excitement about the series fuels my own.
